Make-A-Wish Wisconsin granted Sara Nylund’s wish to play with her favorite Star Wars characters. She was diagnosed with hepatoblastoma, a form of liver cancer, just before her first birthday, but the force is strong in Sara.
Sara was diagnosed at just 10-months-old. She is 3-years-old and she has already had a liver transplant. She was only a year and a half old at the time and though she is currently cancer free she has experienced two transplant rejection episodes and a liver infection.
She was able to spend the day with Storm Troopers, Darth Vader, R2-D2 and several other of her favorite characters as you can see in the video below.
The playdate took place at the Milwaukee Hilton City Center and the family said they were more than grateful for everything.
